The Presidents Cup follows the same format and schedule as the Ryder Cup.
Before the tournament, two captains are elected from the United States and the International side. These captains then choose 12 players, who are either automatically qualified from PGA Tour or wildcard selections from the skipper h🐈imself. Usually, it is a clean split with six ap🌠iece.
