The Dota 2 ONE Esports Singapore Major consists of 16 competing teams – 15 teams from North America, South America, Europe, the CIS, China, and Southeast Asia-based Regional Qualifiers, and the winner of the DPC Minor. At least 2 teams qualify for the tournament via each Regional Qual👍ifier.
The 16 t🍌eams are divided into 4 groups during the Group Stage, which is contested on a GSL-format basis. This ensures that e𒁏ach Group Stage match is an intense affair with high stakes.
The winners of the opening matches of a group take part in a Winner’s Match. The winner of this advances to the Upper Bracket of the Pl💟ayoffs. The losers of the opening matches of a group take part in a Loser’s Match, the winner of which faces the loser of the Winner’s Match.
The winner of the Decider Match advances to the Upper Bracket of the Pla🅷yoffs, while the two bottom-ranked teams for a group in question advance to the Lower Bracket of the Playoffs.
The Playoffs are contested on a double-elimination bracket basis, with the First Round of the Lower Bracket Playoffs taking place on🎉 a best-of♓-one Map basis, and all other encounters taking place on a best-of-three Map basis. The Grand Final is played on a best-of-five Map basis.
